Every single Troll Trails troll is hand made in Montana, USA. We pride ourselves in making quality, unique and intricate clay trolls. We are proud to share our creatures with the world, and hope you enjoy your newly adopted friend for many years to come.
Troll Trails trolls are all individually sculpted by Bryanna using high-quality professional clay. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with her husband and two children, she draws inspiration from Roald Dahl, the Grimms’ Fairy Tales, and her lifelong love of working with her hands. That blend of imagination and craft eventually grew into the world of Troll Trails.
OUR PROCESS:
Every troll is unique, we do not use templates, molds or any mass produced shortcuts. While every troll is different, our general process for creating a Troll Trails troll looks a little something like this:
We want you to love your adopted Troll Trails troll! After adoption, we may ask for your permission to publish your generalized location, and would love you to send us photos of your trolls in their forever home. Got a business? We would love to publish on our web site and social media your troll’s location so that others can come visit.
Deep in the forest, undisturbed by man for centuries, many different species of trolls have lived, thrived, and journeyed. This is where more text will go as we work towards completing the Lore.
Thank you for choosing Troll Trails. The rest of the lore is coming soon!
Our family of trolls include those that are both available for adoption, and those who have already found their ever-after dwellings.
Good News! According to Linksnarl Grubbyte (our fearless computer troll who joined an internship program to brave another world and learn about computers), the following trolls are waiting to be adopted. Below, you will find the list of trolls, along with their own personal story, and their photo gallery. Take a look, and see which one pulls on your heartstrings! Just a hearty note though, while Mr Grubbyte is usually fairly quick to update our web site, trolls showing available here may have already been adopted, so be sure to check out our Etsy Store!
Gribblet Gemwhistle
No one knows how old Gribblet Gemwhistle is. Some say he sprouted before the first Pine trees cracked the soil. Others say he IS the woods or at least the part beneath it. One thing is certain, though, he has been around for a very long time.
Gribblet doesn’t speak. Not because he can’t – He just doesn’t care to. His silence, however, is not empty. It is thick and heavy like the Earth he carries upon his back.
He has no friends, no foes, no plans. Just the rock, the dark, and the treasures waiting to be found.
Mostly, he is left alone. The Forest keeps his secrets, and so does he. But sometimes on still nights, a dim glow can be seen deep in the forest. A flicker of gem-light, and the low, rhythmic crunch of hammer on stone. Like the mountain is breathing, like something ancient is still awake, still digging. That’s Gribblet.
Gudrik Stringweaver
In the mossy heart of the forest peaks, where the pines whispered secrets older than time, lived a troll named Gudrik Stringweaver.
Unlike his scavenger kin, Gudrik was a creature of delicate whimsy. His gnarled hands possessed a surprising finesse and his small twinkling eyes gleamed with dreams. Beneath a canopy of pinecones in a cave draped in colorful leaves, Gudrik crafted marionettes. Puppets so life-like they seemed to breathe. And perhaps they do – For Imagination is the spark that ignites magic and with magic anything is possible.
Murphin Moonhopper
The ballad of Murphin Moonhopper …
“Every leaf remembers a song. I just borrow them” says Murphin as he sits upon his favorite stump and begins to play. He doesn’t play for applause. He Plays to remember. He remembers the music of the old trolls, deep rolling stums that echoed through the caverns.
They say that Murphins music can help lost animals find their way home – As birds flock in the trees around him and the foxes cuddle up with rabbits to listen, as if they were not enemies just moments before.
Some nights if you are near the forest you might hear it, too. Faint notes drifting through the old pine trees. Sweet and strange yet familiar – like a memory.
While these trolls have already found their ever-after dwellings, each one has a unique story that make up the Troll Trails lore. And here you can read all about them.
Little Ninni Mimblefoot
In the deepest, darkest, part of the old woods danced a troll both wild and sweet, with tangled hair and grubby feet. Her name is little Ninni Mimblefoot.
She skips and hops through muddy puddles and around toadstool rings- she makes the owls and blackbirds sing. Her beauty goes beyond measure and her love for animals is her truest treasure.
Little Ninni Mimblefoot has laughter that carries through the wind. She is radiant, wild and free, She is the forest’s melody.
So if you hear her giggles afloat and see her tiny heart shaped foot prints close, you’ll know that little Ninni is on your tracks – barefoot, bold, not looking back!

For transparency, all trinkets that we purchase are clearly listed on the individual troll’s Etsy listing. Not listed? That simply means it was hand made!
